Welcome To surrendered!

A name means more than just ‘what we call ourselves.’ In biblical thought, a name does not merely identify; it expresses the essential nature of its bearer, reflecting character, purpose, or relationship with God. At first glance, Surrendered may bring to mind weakness, defeat, or even cowardice, but it’s really the opposite. The issue is control. Whether we’re seeking control at work, in relationships, or over our future, there’s something comforting about calling the shots. But control comes with pressure, — the weight of responsibility. Every success and every failure rests on your shoulders. What if there’s a better way? God never intended for us to carry that load alone. He calls us to live each day fully surrendered to Him. We’re not meant to be in control … ever. Control can make us believe we’re protecting ourselves from the unknown. We think we can avoid pain, failure, and disappointment by maintaining a firm grip on our life’s circumstances. The problem is control doesn’t deliver what it promises. Trying to manage every detail of our lives only leaves us anxious, frustrated, and even more uncertain than before. That’s why surrender is better. When we let go of control and surrender to God, we’re not giving up, — we’re handing over our burdens to our good Father, who loves us and knows what’s best for us. Surrendering to Him brings peace because we trust that God’s working all things together for good, even when we can’t see how. Where control fails, Surrender frees us to rest in God’s plan.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. [Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT]
