The Bible portrays family as the fundamental institution created by God, emphasizing its importance and significance throughout its pages. It outlines roles and responsibilities, acknowledges challenges, and provides guidance for building strong, loving relationships within families. God makes it clear, the instruction of children falls first and foremost to parents. If our desire is to see our children develop habits of worship, prayer and study, we believe it will begin by them watching and emulating their parents worshiping, praying, and learning. So as we gather on Sunday, we gather as a family. We recognize children don’t always conform to adult standards, and we’re okay with that. There are activities and space for kids ‘to be kids.’ That doesn’t mean we’ve abandoned age oriented discipleship, those opportunities are offered at different times and locations from Sunday. 

We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders. For he issued his laws to Jacob; he gave his instructions to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them--even the children not yet born--and they in turn will teach their own children. Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. [Proverbs 22:6 NIrV]
